The Winthrop Harbor Fire Department provides fire, rescue, and emergency medical services to the residents and visitors of the Village of Winthrop Harbor and the Winthrop Harbor Fire Protection District.  The Fire Department was created in 1949 and was comprised of dedicated volunteers who dropped what they were doing when the alarm rang.  To meet the demands of the community, today the department is fully staffed 24 hours a day and 365 days a year with a minimum of 4 Firefighters. 

The department enjoys serving the public, whether it be a CPR class or a tour of the fire station, stop by or give us a call!
